Due to Covid-19, the majority of our face-to-face events have been cancelled or postponed.  That said, we are now planning some socially distanced activities so please do keep revisiting this page for updates.

We are also running online workshops and information will be posted here.

Illustration and cartoon strip workshops (online)

Thursdays 16, 23, 30 July and 6 August, 4pm - 5pm

Young people aged from 11-16 years are invited to join an artist from Wyldwood Arts for a series of four illustration and comic strip workshops.

Each workshop 'stands alone' with a different theme tackled each week:  scenery; characters; stories and scenarios; developing a comic strip.  That said, any budding young 'Beano' creator would be well-advised to attend all four sessions!

The workshops are free and will take place using Zoom.  Parents are invited to register on behalf of their children using the following links:

Peterchurch Unlocked

We are living in extraordinary times; we are living through history.

Here at The Hub, we would like to try to record the thoughts, emotions, hopes and fears of our community as many of us navigate the uncharted waters of social distancing, self-isolation and more.

We also want to highlight the imagination, compassion, creativity and resilience of our community.

All contributions will be gratefully received and will make up an exhibition entitled PETERCHURCH UNLOCKED.

We will begin to display people's creations during the month of July and exhibits will also be shared with Peterchurch Village Hall when it reopens.

Community Conversation & Reflective Ramble

Sunday 20 - Friday 25 September

We recognise that much good has come out of this crisis, insofar as people have reconnected with their locality and used the lockdown as a means of reaching out to friends and family.

Nonetheless, many people within our community have suffered hardship, some are coming to terms with the loss of a loved one, whilst others are trying to find a way through unemployment to build themselves a new future.

Covid-19 has presented us with an opportunity to get together to share our experiences, identify values which are important to us and reflect upon how we might lead more meaningful lives.

Simon will be walking different routes over the course of 5 days, stopping regularly for rest and refreshment.  If you would like to join him on a walk, please click the button and we'll send you further information.
