Death Café
4th Thursday of the month, 12.30pm - 2pm

Do you have questions about death and dying?  Often it is not an easy subject to discuss with friends and family.  Death cafés are a part of a global movement providing a relaxed and nurturing setting where you can join open, honest, agenda-free discussions to explore the questions you may have about life, dying and grief. The objective of a death café is to increase awareness of death with a view to helping people make the most of their (finite) lives.  This is not a therapy or a grief group.  For more information on the ethos of death cafés please visit www.deathcafe.com

The Hub Café has dedicated a table to this discussion group, where those wishing to drop in can meet over a cuppa and delicious cake. There is no need to book and no session payment is required.

Pilgrimage: A contemporary artwork and poetry installation

The suggested route starts with St. Mary’s (Tyberton), St. Peter’s (Peterchurch), St. Mary Magdalene (Turnastone), St. Bartholomew (Vowchurch) to The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Madley), a journey of approximately 10.5 miles.
