The Hub Café
We have worked hard to make The Hub Café Covid-19 Secure and we were delighted to reopen on 7 July. We are currently welcoming customers to the café on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11am - 3pm. We have simplified our menu for the time being to offer hot and cold drinks, soup, cheese scones, cakes, biscuits and locally-produced Rowlestone ice-cream.
Those who have visited us previously will notice that we are also doing things a little differently in the building itself. In line with Government guidance, we are asking our customers to wear face coverings until they are seated at a table, we have spread out our seating to allow for social distancing, there is a one-way system to help customers move around the café and we have introduced table service. We ask that, due to updated Government guidance, table groups are limited to six. Where possible, we are encouraging customers to pay by 'contactless' card, rather than by cash.
We welcome families, walkers, cyclists and dogs but we apologise if there is a bit of a wait for a table.
Staff will be on hand to help customers adjust to these new arrangements; thank you in advance for your patience and support!
With free wi-fi, comfy sofas and outdoor seating, the café is a great meeting place in the Golden Valley.
During October, The Hub Cafe is supporting Apples for Autumn and celebrating Herefordshire's apple harvest. Throughout the month, soups and cakes on our menu will be inspired by this wonderful fruit!

The Hub Café is part of the nationwide Chatty Café scheme. At present, it is difficult for us to run Chatty Café in the way that we used to but we remain keen to try to help people socialise in a socially distanced manner. Please contact us to find out more...
