Who We Are
The Hub is a rural community development project based at St Peter’s Church in Peterchurch, in the heart of Herefordshire’s Golden Valley. We are a friendly group of like-minded people who want to make a difference to the lives of others in a place where each of us can bring our own gifts and passions to help build a strong, resilient and sustainable local community.
Covid-19 update: As regulations ease, we are planning more events and activities so please click through the tabs at the top of the screen to find out more. Please also note that although Government restrictions have eased, we continue to ask visitors to 'Test & Trace' and wear masks within The Hub to protect the most vulnerable within our community.
The fabulous Hub Café has comfy sofas, wifi and outdoor seating. It's a place to meet friends, relax, read a paper and enjoy delicious food and home-baked cakes.
A fully functioning branch of Hereford libraries is based here. Browse and borrow from our great selection of books or order any book from the full library catalogue.
Lots of great weekly activities take place at The Hub including community choir, Chatty Café and yoga.
The Hub hosts a variety of events: art classes, creative workshops, nature talks, live music and much more!
We are one of Herefordshire Council's Talk Community Hubs and have a staffed information point on the mezzanine where you can come and get information, signposting and support. We also have an informal Community Helpline which local residents may use to request help from one of our volunteers. Visit our Support page for more information.
