Pedlar's Tales at The Hub

Friday 3 April 7pm - 9pm

During the last year Herefordshire Libraries and Archives have been taking local stories and events off the shelves and bringing them to life with the imagination and skill of The Fetch Theatre Company.  Pedlar’s Tales revolves around the central character of Silver Joan and the action takes place around a magical pedlar’s cart.  There is a delightful air of mystery that runs throughout the show and the stories, which are part fact, part legend and all local to Herefordshire, are mesmerising.

Beautiful, colourful, believable puppets breathe further life into the stories and complementary to the performance is a wonderful, original score, derived from local, traditional music.  Not only is this a triumph of storytelling, running the gamut of life and emotion, but also a masterclass in the art of puppetry - and all with a happy ending!

The performance is suitable for adults and children aged 7+ years.  Tickets are £3 each and can be purchased from The Hub Library or Café during opening hours.
